2-pin or 3-pin? Which charger plug you need in Pakistan

Pakistan uses round-pin sockets, mostly Type C and Type D. Imported chargers do not always match, and the plug is the one specification people forget to check.

The three you will encounter

Round 2-pin (Type C). The European-style plug. Fits Pakistani sockets directly. This is what you want.

Flat 2-pin (Type A). The US-style plug, two flat parallel blades. Does not fit a Pakistani round socket without an adapter.

Round 3-pin (Type D). The larger UK-style round plug. Fits Type D sockets.

How to check before ordering

Look at the product photographs, not the description. A plug is visible in a photo and unambiguous. If every image hides the plug, ask before you buy.

Every charger we list is a round 2-pin that fits a Pakistani socket directly, and we state the plug type in the specifications on each product page.

Is an adapter acceptable?

For occasional use, yes. Permanently, it is a poor idea — a cheap adapter adds a loose connection carrying full mains voltage, and loose connections generate heat. It also makes the charger stick further out of the wall, which is how plugs get knocked and prongs get bent.

Voltage is not the problem

Pakistan runs 220–240V. Every charger we sell is rated 100–240V, so a charger built for the US or China works here electrically. The plug shape is the only issue, not the voltage.
